The book begins with familiar off-staff notation, then introduces notes on lines using the same color-coded approach. From there, students begin reading traditional staff notation with plenty of helpful hints, starting with just C-D-E in the right hand and C-B-A in the left hand. By the end of the book, students are reading music on the full grand staff!
